feels like electric shocks

Hello everyone. Diagnosed with DVT from lower intestine all the way down to my foot last April 24th. On 7.5 mg. warfarin since then My INR is 2.7 nearly every time it is checked, every 30 days. I am 60 years old.
I won't go into the pain and limitations which have lasted longer than either I or my Dr. expected. My last ultrasound showed that the clots in my calf have resolved, but the rest remain. I am very discouraged.
The past two weeks I have been up and around more than ever getting as much exercise as I can stand hoping for faster healing. The thing that brought me to you more than anything is that in my thigh I keep getting sensations like shooting electric shocks, and wonder if any of you get this...whatever it is. Also, I had arthritis in my knee before the DVT, and now it is so much worse. It feels like there's a huge screw in my knee that hurts me badly. Can anyone relate? I feel like a real mess.

I'm so sorry Donna what you're going through.. To find your other clots haven't resolved must be agonizing.. Those shocks sound terrible too.. I've never gotten them before. My clot is behind my leg. This is the second one Ive gotten in two years. I'm a mess too. I was really into working out and exercising, not I'm afraid to do almost anything again.. I pray for the both of us Donna. Keep your head up.. It will get better.. Shane from Texas

Thank you Shane. I do believe in prayer, and the power of talking to others in the same boat. I will also pray for you. I used to be a walker, happiest when outside walking. The thought of being back out there keeps me going. We live three flights up the stairs and getting up and down right now is a trial. Best of wishes to you!

I have the electric shock feeling all over my right leg. It happens
many times a day. My foot feels like it is "asleep" all the time and I
can barely walk and when I do it's with a walker (all arm muscle)short
distances (like to the bathroom.)
My clot is from mid calf to 4 inches above my knee. I'm 35 and a
martial artist Physical Therapist student and am so afraid my leg and
foot might not return to normal. :o(

I have the electric shock pain on my left knee. It star on Dec 2015 geting worst when I're on vacation , the pain strike me at least 15 time the day, maybe because I ate a lot of restaurant food. I came home on the 1rst of Jan 2016 watching on the the food that I eat during the day and compare to the pain that strike me.
For the last 10 days my pain slowly go away. My dr look onto the xray and said I have arthritis.
I did'nt take any medicine. I eat lean food, no chinese restaurant or sea food for now.
I pray alot. God alway help me when I beg him to help.
Thank you my God
