One new option for people who have been diagnosed with a blood clot is Thrombolysis which uses medicines and devices to remove the blood clot. While not risk free, and not offered universally, the following doctors and institutions do offer this. If you think you may be interested, it is important to act quickly. Blood clots harden within the first several weeks, making it much more difficult to remove the clot. This procedure has risks and you should discuss with your doctors the tradeoffs for your particular situation.

Hi all, I had a DVT in my groin in late April, and today went for a follow up
This showed existing clots just above the knee, and collateral circulation had
formed around these clots, so my circulation is working in a new way.
This test was requested by a vascular surgeon whom I've never met!
What are the likely next steps?
I'm on Warfarin and just getting good inr results!
Many thanks in advance

with Vitalpeak Xt. That is how to buy the right Health for you. I'd like
to discover your thoughts on what I've written. As a rule of thumb
things get even worse afterward. I may simply chuck Body altogether.

So for about a week now, more or less, and I have a bump about an inch long and
I did some research and I might have a blood clot, and I'm scared to death that I
might die so maybe you can help relieve me. Anyway continuing on, I am 12 years
old and I have also gotten dermotographia, I got stung by a bee that hurt for a day
stopped hurting the next day after putting on baking soda on it. And I got hives a
week later after I got stung (got stung about 3 weeks ago from today.) and now
when I scratch an itch it develops all these bumps in a small area. And I just
learned now, when I press on it, it feels like a slightly pushing on a bruise.

Details vvvv

I am gonna tell you everything about me.

I am 12 years old, birthday on December 16th.
I am going through puberty, muscles growing in my hands probably why I have
my veins popping out. Growing hairs on my testicle sac, don't know what it's

I saw an old post your wife made on Reboot with Joe. My husband has had two
DVTs in the last three years and still is having complications. Did you ever do the
Reboot and if so did it help with the DVTs and venous insufficiencies.
Thanks, Mary

Hey everyone, so happy to have found this forum.Im a 34 year old
female. I was rushed to the emergency room 10 days ago and had a blood
clot in my left leg from my pelvis to my knee. After figuring out my
INR levels, took 7 days of needles, I'm currently on 3mg of warfarin
daily. I had severe swelling that has currently put me in a wheelchair
to get around anywhere I go. It has gone down a little now but i still
have a lot of PAIN! My question is this, when will I be able to walk
again? I have been told a week to a week and a half, to my last
doctors saying a month or two. i have a two year old little girl that
I'm obviously having difficutly taking care of, I can't work, bathe
myself, or well really do much of anything. I just really want my leg
back and it gets so scary sometimes that I might never be able to
again. any help at all would be greatly apreciated!! thank you

Iv been having some discomfort in my right leg for two weeks, changing from calf
to thigh to hip, never really two at the same time.. No swelling, no redness .. In the
two weeks or so Iv had 3 negative duplex ultrasounds done by hospital and a
company that only does ultrasounds , x Ray's ect, all three done by different
techs. I have also had the d dimmer which was negative (0.2) and been seen by
like 6 different doctors , also had all my bloods done, cholesterol , blood sugar
ect everything was fine.

But I'm still very worried they missed a clot!
Am I being to paranoid or should I still be questioning?

I'm a 24 year old male in AUS
No long travels
No family history I'm aware of
No surgery or anything

Just been a bit lazy lately due to being off work with a injury
Just being very concerned reading some peoples story's on the Internet

Iam very afraid and need advice. August 2010 i was diagnosed with a large
lumbar disk hernuation. I had severe sciatica and stabbing pain all down my left
leg. After months of suffering, the pain in the leg subsided a bit. And bam! I was
diagnosed with a dvt in the same aching leg - in a large vein below the knee. I
was for 5 days in a hospital on IV heparine and then changed to a oral
anticoagulant acenocoumarol (Sintrom). Now, 4 months later i suffer from a
severe stiffness in the calf wherebthe dvt is. After numerous examinations, the
vascular surgeon said that the vein is "reopened" at 30% and tat most probably
the pain comes from the herniation, compressing a nerve root. But it is a bit
strange, since i dont have nerve pain along the leg now, only this severe
stifness of the calf muscle, which is constant and makes me insane. Also I feel
my leg very heavy down there. Its diameter is also with 4cm bigger than the
other unaffected leg. My questions are:

after reading dvt symptoms online , I don't have swelling or redness or warmth .
The flowing day I had a full leg duplex ultrasound of my right leg .. All was well I
was told by the person doing the scan, and to follow up with my doctor, how ever
the following day my leg was still giving me trouble and I was starting to get very

they saw the results from the radiologist ( as no one had seen the
